Samsung today launched its first tablet device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab in India. This device is powered by Android 2.2 (FroYo) Operating System. India is one of the first three markets where in the world where the Galaxy Tab is being launched. Samsung Galaxy Tab has been customized to meet the needs of Indian consumers in terms of its applications.

Samsung Galaxy Tab comes with a price tag of Rs.38,000. Leading Indian operators like Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Tata Docomo and RCom are soon expected to announce exciting offers and data plans with the Galaxy Tab. This powerful device will be available in India from November 10.
